So I just got back from the event I had to photograph . It was actually pretty fun I’m glad I did it. Made a few international contacts and some local contacts as well . Hopefully will be doing more photography like this soon. The lecture part of the event was pretty boring . How many photographs can you snap in a creative way of a guy just talking ? Also the speaker seemed to be camera shy . The dinner/dance on the cruise was fun . Open bar and every one became more open . A few things I learned .. Always carry business cards with me .. And many batteries ! My batteries in my flash died towards the end of the night and I had to use my internal flash .. It was pretty embarrassing but everyone seemed too drunk to notice . I’m over coming my fear of taking pictures of strangers .. Yay .
